As the "Symbol of All Symbols" the Shen identifies the place of transition or passing from Time to Eternity. In ancient Summaria, the Goddess Ianana (Ishtar) is holding the Shen which was later adopted by the Egyptians.

2. The Ratio of the Length of the Line to the Diameter of the Circle.
